Who Are We?
Zoovee Ventures is an angel investment and business advisory firm. We bring deep technical domain expertise and the necessary hands-on operating experience needed to move your ideas and business forward.
Our focus is on web, mobile, and software startup companies. We partner with entrepreneurs to help them develop their idea, develop their business, and also have a little fun along the way.
What Can We Do For You?
Angel investing is about passion and we get involved because we enjoy helping true “early stage” businesses, mentoring young entrepreneurs, and participating in the development of an emerging company. In an investment capacity, we are comfortable with making micro-investments to help up-and-coming entrepreneurs turn their ideas into reality.
In an advisory role, we partner with entrepreneurs helping them with their most critical challenges. Our advisory activities include strategy, finance, product, and leadership development. Working together, we develop compelling strategies with an emphasis on executable plans - not lofty concepts that an organization cannot make happen. Our focus throughout the process is to continually bringing value to our investments.
The Power of the Relationship!
At Zoovee Ventures, we realize that it’s not just about business - it’s about people and their passion to do great things. We believe that the person is just as important as the idea. Our goal is to build a supportive and collaborative relationship with the entrepreneur, without micro-managing. We’ll not only supply our expertise but also our network of relationships to help awesome entrepreneurs take their great ideas and turn them into breakthrough companies!
Once a potential investment is identified, it is reviewed and analyzed by the Zoovee Ventures team. Opportunities that appear to have significant potential proceed to the due diligence stage. As part of the process, we will seek guidance from our Advisory Board members and technology experts to evaluate certain aspects of the opportunity. We focus upon the following core criteria:
• The target markets are substantial and the business contains the ingredients necessary to achieve a decisive competitive edge.
• Management is capable of executing its business plan and possesses the appropriate balance of entrepreneurial and managerial skills.
• Technology is widely applicable and has some proprietary characteristics, which cannot be easily duplicated by competition.
